Work at the CNNC

While I am a PhD candidate in the Department of History at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, I am also a Fellows Program and Social Media Coordinator for the Center of New North Carolinians (CNNC) at UNCG.

My primary responsibilities include organizing meetings for the Fellows program, gathering and disseminating information pertinent to the Fellows, participating in the Fellows' subcommittee meetings, and inviting guests to speak to the Fellows about various topics related to the local refugee and immigrant communities.

Additionally, I manage the CNNC's social media accounts and undergraduate social media interns. I also am the administrator for the CNNC's website.

I also assist in organizing the annual symposium. My tasks include (but are not limited to) sending out the call for proposals, organizing the proposals into sessions, editing the program, and finding moderators for each of the sessions.

I have also written stories for the CNNC's website. Check out some my stories and program designs below!
